CMAS (Confederation Mondial des
Activities Subaquatiques / Worldwide Confederation of Underwater Activities), is founded at 15 January 1959 at Monaco under the leadership of late Jacques Yves Cousteau. Today, over 90 countries are attached to CMAS.
Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF) is also working attached to CMAS. Within that scope, TSSF applies programs for training divers in worldwide standards and approves certificates of divers trained within these parameters. Certificates are double faced bearing both TSSF and CMAS approvals.
